Artwork Description

Oil on canvas
116cm (W) x 182cm (H) x 3cm (D)

In the stillness of the Australian winter, the garden offers a subdued yet striking display of greens. Leaves deepen in tone, their edges crisp in the morning air, catching soft light between rain showers.

It’s a season of quiet strength, where growth is subtle but steady, and beauty lies in the cool hush of resilience.

Artist Bio

I was born in a small mining town in Transylvania, Romania, where the rugged landscapes and rich cultural heritage served as my early inspiration. In 1990, I embarked on a transformative journey, relocating to the vibrant city of Sydney, Australia, which I now proudly call home. Here, I have passionately pursued my artistic calling and honed my skills as a full-time painter.
My commitment to the craft led me to obtain a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree from the prestigious National Art School in Sydney, specializing in painting. This educational journey has allowed me to blend my Romanian roots with the diverse artistic influences of Australia, resulting in a unique and captivating body of work.
I am an associated artist with Traffic Jam Galleries, Neutral Bay NSW, and Milk Factory Gallery, Bowral NSW
