Original abstract acrylic painting of moving water where two or more currents meet - 'Flowing Substances'.

The painting is on canvas wrapped around traditional wooden stretcher bars with edges that are 1.5 cm deep. The edges are staple free and the painting continues around the edges.

The painting is varnished with professional quality artist’s varnish. This gives a protective surface and a satin sheen that is soft to touch and makes the colours beautiful and vibrant. This gorgeous painting features a mixture of sponging and dot work in black, brown, white, aqua and gold tones which really bring this painting to life.

I package my art securely in twin walled cartons, with inserted protective layering and lots of bubble wrap.

The painting is signed on the front and back and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and A5 hand painted thank you card.

Denise is a Contemporary artist who lives on the Gold Coast, Queensland Australia. Denise has travelled extensively around Australia and photographed the landscape and nature which has inspired her art. Her work is driven by a love of colour and pattern. "I have been painting since a very young age. Working for 15 years in the Art Department of St. Hilda's School on the Gold Coast. My artwork has been exhibited in art shows on the Gold Coast and Brisbane with works sold for private and public collections in Australia and overseas. I have been involved with the creative arts all my life. My inspiration comes from nature and the landscapes I photograph on my travels and it is an integral part of my life. My subject matter was mainly old houses and hotels but now I am engaging in birds, flowers and landscapes and using this subject matter to explore the many and varied different colours, shapes and forms that exist in them. I paint using acrylic, watercolour, ink and mixed media.".
