Original Watercolour painting of four Strelitzia flowers (Bird of Paradise) with surrounding foliage.

The painting is on A3 size quality 300gsm heavy acid free watercolour Reeves paper, medium surface. This painting requires a frame which can be found at local stockists or through Bluethumb during the purchasing of the artwork.

The painting is signed on the front and back and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and hand painted thank you card. I have used a Micador spray finish on the painting.

Packed in a plastic sleeve with cardboard backing and posted in an Australia Post - Rigid Sturdy Mailer for added protection.

Denise is a Contemporary artist who lives on the Gold Coast, Queensland Australia. Denise has travelled extensively around Australia and photographed the landscape and nature which has inspired her art. Her work is driven by a love of colour and pattern. "I have been painting since a very young age. Working for 15 years in the Art Department of St. Hilda's School on the Gold Coast. My artwork has been exhibited in art shows on the Gold Coast and Brisbane with works sold for private and public collections in Australia and overseas. I have been involved with the creative arts all my life. My inspiration comes from nature and the landscapes I photograph on my travels and it is an integral part of my life. My subject matter was mainly old houses and hotels but now I am engaging in birds, flowers and landscapes and using this subject matter to explore the many and varied different colours, shapes and forms that exist in them. I paint using acrylic, watercolour, ink and mixed media.".
