A highly detailed lush garden/forest scene with tall leafy trees above the richly colourful and textured under growth below. Sitting high up on a tree branch are two kookaburra’s in conversation, (one could be a kingfisher) They draw your eye and make you wonder what they’re up to… and there’s a little bush turkey in amongst the leafy area at the foot of the large tree.
I was inspired to paint these lush forest like garden paintings in response to the bush fires that were happening in Qld, Australia at the time.
