Desley has always been captivated by art.
Growing up in the vibrant rural landscapes of Australia, she developed a deep love for the natural world, which now inspires her lively acrylic paintings.
Desley's work features bold textures and vibrant colours, capturing the essence of landscapes, seascapes abstracts and floral scenes.
She's known for her large, impressionist-style pieces that showcase her unique way of seeing the world.
Influenced initially by her mother and later by the energetic works of Vincent van Gogh.
Desley's art reflects her fascination with the changing seasons and the beauty of the land.
While her paintings mainly find homes in Australia, she's also delighted to have her work in private collections across England, Japan, America and Tasmania.
As a self-taught artist, Desley loves experimenting with palette knives and brushed to bring her textured creations to life.
For her, every day is an opportunity to celebrate the ever-changing beauty of nature!
