Desma makes art in response to the world around her. Mediterranean scenes, seascapes, Australian landscapes, abstracts, florals, poured paint, mixed media are areas of exploration. Earning a degree in Visual Art and Design from the Adelaide College of the Arts in 2009 gave Desma the confidence to pursue a career in the Arts. Her studio is home based next to her garden an endless source of inspiration. Its all about texture an expressing the emotion behind the painting at the time.
