Artwork Description

Acrylic on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

Have you seen the colours of Australia? The REAL Australia?
This painting is stylistically a little deviation from my norm.. But after having been witness to this sight: the rock wall set ablaze by the setting sun, fantastic rock formations, the twisted tortured trees, their lime green foliage, the endless skies ... well I just had to put brush to canvas to convey the sensory assault.
Ormiston Creek is en route to Ormiston Gorge, in the West MacDonnell ranges west of Alice Springs. This is Albert Namatjira country. After visiting this part of the world, I have to say he had plenty to be inspired by!

This piece is painted with professional artist quality paint, on professional grade canvas stretched over quality frame, and finished with a light varnish for protection.
All edges are gallery wrapped, so artwork can hang without frame if desired.

In situ artwork scale is approximate.
