The piece ‘A Wild Summer’ is truly a wild, vibrant array of gorgeous blooms… roses, carnations, gerberas, snapdragons, dahlias, babies’ breath and more!
It was inspired by my friend’s amazing wedding arrangement- a wildly bright and vivacious arrangement appealed to my artistic eye; the saying “I just had to paint it” comes to mind! I wanted to capture that joyous, vivid, spirted, energetic vibe that I saw in that wedding arrangement - a celebration of love, full of anticipation, excitement and happiness.
Interpreting the arrangement in my unique style, the result is this sumptuous perfusion of colour, a showering of colourful blooms across a bright canvas.
