Di is an artist who thrives on variety and creative challenges involved in painting
different subjects. Her understanding of colour and form, and how these are
influenced by the effect of light is truly impressive.
Her ability to capture light and movement show in her paintings, from Cattlemen
of the High Country, landscapes, seascapes, portraits and beautiful figurative
works. This versatility allows her to paint any subject fluently.
She has painted many celebrities including:- Hugh Jackman, Tommy Emmanuel
James Morrison, Rhonda Burchmore, Julie Anthony, Graeham Goble, Bruce
Rowland, Marina Prior and Peter Brocklehurst for a Charity Auction in 2005,
and Geoffrey Rush and Olivier Newton-John for “Chairs for Charity”
Di has exhibited in London, Paris and New York and had many solo and group
exhibitions. She has judged many art shows, conducted workshops &
demonstrations.
She has won many commendations throughout her career, but has only listed some of the more major awards.
