I am Diamanta.

I create art, and I’d like you to enjoy it.
I have developed my style over many years and through many iterations. The themes that always follow me are colour, layer and pattern. I play with many mediums on many surfaces including pencil, watercolour and acrylic on paper, canvas and wooden board.

From my studio in Brisbane, I create works to make your house a home, add interest and character, and transform a space.

My process is driven by experimentation, I work through the style over many iterations and while each work is unique, it is part of a greater series and has a connection and relationship to my other creations.
I use colour and shape to produce flow and rhythm and layers to bring depth. I develop complexity and cohesion in each artwork by setting up rules, which I often break, which leads me to the final piece.
