"Picasso’s Frida" is a vibrant acrylic painting on a large canvas that captures dMilo’s interpretation of Frida Kahlo. Inspired by the bold colours and expressive style of Pablo Picasso, this piece is a fusion of their influences. A modern Picasso interpretation or a contemporary Frida portrait.
I have layered colours of paint and scratched back into the top layer revealing the base colour, this is called ‘Sgraffito’

I’m an Australian artist living in Sydney.
I’m a self-taught, experimental artist who loves working with colour and exploring different styles and mediums. I paint, draw and make things because I’m curious about where an idea can take me.
My work is often inspired by people, nature, emotions and the strange little things I notice around me. I don’t like being put into one particular style — I enjoy experimenting and letting each artwork become its own thing.
