Artwork Description

This captivating mixed-media artwork on paper is a masterful fusion of expressive abstraction and delicate botanical detail. Layers of acrylic ink, spray paint, and acrylic pens intertwine, creating a dynamic composition where floral elements emerge and dissolve into an atmospheric backdrop.

A warm palette of deep crimson, burnt sienna, and golden hues radiates energy, while fluid ink washes blend seamlessly with the softness of spray-painted gradients. Sharp, linear detailing with acrylic pens enhances the organic forms, evoking the intricate veins of petals and leaves. The contrast between structured line work and spontaneous paint drips adds depth and movement, bridging realism with abstraction.

Hints of negative space, combined with the interplay of light and shadow, create a sense of ethereality, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in the artwork’s layered complexity. The elegant white frame and matting further emphasise the luminosity and fluidity of the piece, enhancing its contemporary aesthetic.
