Diana Weeratunga is an Adelaide-based artist whose work is inspired by the
coastal beauty and quiet natural spaces of South Australia. Originally from Sri
Lanka, she has found Adelaide to be the place that nurtures her artistic journey
and deepens her connection with nature.
Working primarily in oils and acrylics, Diana explores seascapes and wildlife
through expressive texture and layered brushwork. Her paintings evoke
stillness, mood, and the emotional resonance found where land, sea, and living
creatures coexist.
In 2025, Diana exhibited her work in multiple SALA events, including a solo
exhibition at the Goodwood Library, as well as group shows across Adelaide. Her
exhibition Echoes of Nature is currently on display at the Unley Inner Art
Gallery, celebrating the beauty, movement, and spirit of the natural world.
