Artwork Description

This gentle giant was a rare and welcome sight. The Zodiac I balanced in fought against the icy swell, and my frozen fingers struggled to manoeuvre the camera under waterproof coverings. As I made eye contact with this glistening creature, the enormity of where I was sinking in. His seemingly non-urgent stroll along the ice ledge as sleet blew straight towards us felt as if I was being beckoned to forget the camera and capture it in my memories forever. The polar bear gazed towards us and seemed oblivious to my efforts to capture his beauty. I am indeed very grateful for My life as a photographer through a fortunate lens.
