I started my art career in 2011, when I joined an art group doing palette knife. I absolutely loved the challenges, texture and abstract aspect that the palette knife gave me. And since then I havenโt looked back.
I live in a little country town called Wingham where I am surrounded by the Australian bush, the ocean, beautiful sweeping landscapes, farmlands and the magnificent Manning River. This is where I get the majority of my inspiration. Though I also enjoy getting inspiration from different countries that I have visited.
You will notice that I love texture which is why I use impasto in my acrylic paints to create extra volume. I usually use a thick edge canvas and take the painting around the edges. My art can be framed though I like making it ready to hang without framing.
