I am excited to share my artistic journey, which began at seven. An encouraging art teacher during my secondary education helped me recognise my potential. Although I initially underestimated my abilities, my passion for creation has always been strong. By fifteen, my parents supported my aspirations with books on drawing and painting. My father, a talented artist who chose not to pursue art professionally, motivated me to embrace my creativity.
After a forty-year hiatus, I returned to the breathtaking landscapes of Australia. Born in 1961 to English parents who emigrated through the "10-pound POMS" initiative, I moved to England at three. Despite living in the UK for over four decades, my connection to Australia remained significant. I often recalled memories of its towering trees and lush valleys.
In 2022, I returned to my homeland with my husband and our sixteen-year-old son. The natural beauty of Australia deeply inspires me, awakening a new appreciation for its diverse landscapes. This environment fuels my creativity, prompting me to capture its splendour through my landscapes and portraits.
