Sunset No 1

The pinky underside of the clouds in this sunset was beatiful and quickly changing. The reflection in the water also picked up some of the pink. This painting evokes a lovely evening - the best part of the day.

Diane started her career as an architectural draftsperson and has carried her love of architecture into her art. She also likes to paint land and seascapes, nature and things that capture her imagination. She loves bold colours and works in oils, acrylic and water colours. Diane has entered a number of art exhibitions and has been awarded two Highly Commended and First Prize in the Acrylic Section.
