Artwork Description

Twixi Llama is a whimsical and imaginative piece that blends playful surrealism with bold simplicity. The artwork features a llama-like figure rendered in textured strokes of warm gold and orange, yellow and white, standing against a deep, moody dark green/blue background. The figure’s elongated form and upright posture evoke elegance while maintaining a sense of humour and charm.

Artist Bio

Dianne Alchin is a self‑taught artist based on the Central Coast, NSW, whose vibrant abstract and contemporary works are inspired by the beauty, rhythm, and emotion found in the world around her. She discovered her passion for painting early—selling her first abstract artwork to a school teacher at just sixteen—and has continued to create with the same sense of curiosity and joy ever since.

Drawing from landscapes, seascapes, travel experiences, and the interplay of colour and form, Dianne transforms her impressions into expressive acrylic paintings on canvas. Her work often reflects the shapes, movement, and energy she observes in nature and everyday life, resulting in pieces that feel both dynamic and deeply intuitive.

Guided by the philosophy that “Life is a gift”, Dianne approaches each artwork as an opportunity to celebrate beauty, evoke emotion, and create something meaningful for others to enjoy. Her art has resonated with collectors across Australia, with dozens of original works finding homes through Bluethumb.
