Inspired by the cotton growing at Mutchilba. A few years ago they began planting a cotton crop where the cane fields used to flourish. Now it has become a yearly crop that attracts lots of interest from visitors and travellers who stop to take photos of the white covered paddock. It looks like snow and is a stark contrast to the usual dry surrounds.

Artwork Description
Artist Bio
I have been working in the glass artists category for around 35 years, working in fusing, leadlighting and beadmaking. Painting is a new pursuit and I have completed a weekend course with David Hinchcliffe in June of 2022. I have only completed about 15 paintings to date, but love the process both technical and emotional and am enjoying the new creative process. My aim is to create something memorable and natural to bring the outdoors indoors and to bring beauty into peoples thoughts, lives and hearts. π
