Richmond Overpass

I painted this after a visit to Richmond, Vic.  We stayed close by and walked past this each day.  I love the industrial, inner-city landscape and the posters of upcoming music events.  This is across the road of a well known music venue and I'm sure locals would be familiar with this view.

I am a Newcastle based artist, inspired by my surrounds of the suburban and coastal landscape. My paintings show a silent and tranquil scene, generally void of people. I like to depict the beauty of the natural environment which also portrays a human footprint, usually in the form of a structure.

My paintings are acrylic on canvas.

I have held a solo exhibition at Nanshe Gallery and was part of a group exhibition at Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley. I was included in the list of finalists for the We Get By emerging artists showcase at Cooks Hill Gallery.
