Artwork Description

#maximalist #ghettofolk
Owes a debt to Kippenberger, Basquiat, Cullen, perhaps also Gareth Samson + Mondrian (who I'd never consider placing myself in the exalted company of, and by not doing so I've just done)
"The elegance of print empowers the most impossible sentence, translates it's noise into at least a facsimile of discourse" -Greil Marcus.
Left that quote here, seems somehow relevant to this noisy image - although writing and painting are indeed different beasts
