Divina Guerrera 9 artworks | 0 Sold Follow Contact Divina My life has revolved around Art from an early age where I would sketch anyone that came to visit to a career in my early 30s teaching Art to teenagers in a secondary college. In my mid 30s I started an early childhood career by setting up a childcare centre so that I could have more time with my children. For almost twenty years I was a childcare director and designed and ran programs for children ensuring that the arts was always the main skill area of these young children’s lives. My own children were also influenced by my love of the arts and so we ran Art classes for school aged children in my childcare centre on Saturdays. Life has thrown a few curveballs at me and I have always turned to drawing or painting for comfort. My life experiences and journey have always taken me back to my first passion and so now that I’m retired and having been locked down in Melbourne due to the COVID pandemic I have started painting again. I believe that Art is the best type of therapy for the soul and mind and am finally ready to share my vision and experiences.
