In this colored pencil artwork I have attempted to create a fantasy world of witchcraft, mystery and lights. The woman is subjected by numerous sources of light and shadows as she is concentrating on the crystal ball reading. The lack of pupils in her eyes and the multi-directional eyeballs floating around give a sense of her magical abilities of searching and fortune telling. This is further reinforced by the floating hair and unnatural glowing crystal orb. The peculiar glowing butterfly represents the natural elements involved; reinforced by the runes with a bird marking and the crystals on the table.
