Serenity

Titled Serenity, the oil painting depicts the peaceful nature of a human among a fantasy world of colour and Light. The light and shadows allude to the puzzling complexity of this relationship. The ideas of life (flower and butterfly) and death (arrows and hooks) make an appearance, hinting at the ever cyclic nature of life. The round eyeballs and gold ring earings also further accentuates that point. A final look will reveal as though the character is transporting through a portal of time - completing the central theme of a serene everlasting cycle.
