This painting is an underwater view of magnolias floating in the water. Viewing things things from alternative perspectives and looking 'beneath the surface' has been a common thread in my practice.
The sea is a gateway to the vast mysterious unknown. Above and below provide differing views, new ways of seeing. My art practice is intimately connected to water. The sea nurtures and nourishes my body, mind and spirit.
