This was painted when I had recently returned from overseas and was struggling a bit to find my way forward in my art. But I had broken through and was finally getting somewhere!
The sea is a gateway to the vast mysterious unknown. Above and below provide differing views, new ways of seeing. My art practice is intimately connected to water. The sea nurtures and nourishes my body, mind and spirit.
