Dom Violi
Australian artist
Dom was born in southern Italy and migrated to Australia at 3 years of age. He calls Australia home though has a great affinity with Italy having lived there from 2007 – 2013.
Dome’s work is influenced by strong energy, colour and form. He focuses on landscapers, nudes, still life’s and abstracts.
Dom creates small intimate works but also medium sized and very large statement pieces in oils, acrylics and water colours. He also uses dry media like conte crayon and graphite.
Dom has been exhibiting professionally since his early 30’s and has exhibited extensively in Australia, Italy, Singapore and Canada.
He is represented in public and private collections in Australia, Singapore, Italy, USA, UK, France and New Zealand.
