Artist Bio

Domenic Bahmann (born 1981 in Munich) is a multidisciplinary illustrator, artist, and designer based in Canberra, Australia. His work covers photography, everyday objects, installations, signage, sketching, animation and collage. His seemingly inconsistent style of creations offers a collection of surprising insights drawn from our environment and everyday life.

He began his career working as a creative for various agencies and studios before launching his ongoing initiative, Stop, Think, Make, in 2013. Since then, Domenic has become known for his visual metaphors and thought-provoking illustrations inspired by everyday life. His work has been featured in magazines, advertising campaigns, and social media projects around the world.

His mix of mostly culture, health and science related illustrations have appeared in many international publications. He has worked for Time Magazine, New Scientist Magazine, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Glamour Magazine, The Sydney Morning Herald, Pixar, Toyota among others.
