I have been making art since 2017. I started by painting a variety of things, animals, people and graffiti type and different styles.
I mostly paint using acrylics on canvas, but I like paint pens, collage and washes and sometimes wood panels, bamboo etc. I am self-taught. I like to paint large scale but started out doing smaller pieces.
I focus on people and especially love doing faces, there is infinite variety in the human face, especially when you consider adding emotions to them. I like to add a sometime humorous, sometimes cynical, fake-news/ fake political message and a bit of anarchy to pieces. I like to explore the stupidity of some humans and their egos, especially their pride and superficiality. I also enjoy experimenting with other subject matters like a dark look at nature, the stars and universe.
I people-watch in a variety of locations and talk to all sorts of people that I meet on the street and elsewhere and try to understand what drives them. I enjoy being outdoors, music and have a constant stream of ideas, the problem is time to bring them to fruition – I usually am working on 5 + paintings at any one time.
My art has been popular in America where the street art movement originated. Works sold in Australia, New Zealand, New York, Chicago and London.
