Artwork Description

A table scape inspired by my favourite plates, the harvest from my garden, my grandmothers tea towels a Clarice Cliff teapot that was gifted by a friend and one of my very favourite Degas paintings, represented in an open book.
The artwork has been framed in raw oak.

Artist Bio

Dominika is an artist living in the Yarra Valley. Drawing inspiration from her garden and the beautiful surrounds, she has a particular passion for representing house plants, flowers and treasures from her various collections. 'I find inspiration everywhere and am influenced by nature, my garden, and the changing seasons. I find there is beauty in every stage of the life cycle, whether it be the closed bud of a flower, a deteriorated sea shell or an autumn leaf. My main challenge being that time is limited and of all my ideas, only some will find their way to paper! My art practice is my meditation, my connection to the earth, to my family, and at times it is all encompassing in the most beautiful of ways'.
