Monstera With Vessels

My beautiful monstera, that sits pride of place in the lounge, is just about to unfurl a new leaf. Here she sits in the company of a large brown bottle, that I originally purchased in New Zealand when it was full of apple cider and a Fowlers Jar, ready for a posy.

This painting is textured in places with visible brush strokes throughout and will look beautiful anywhere from a dark wall to a white room.

Dominika is an artist living in the Yarra Valley. Drawing inspiration from her garden and the beautiful surrounds, she has a particular passion for representing house plants, flowers and treasures from her various collections. 'I find inspiration everywhere and am influenced by nature, my garden, and the changing seasons. I find there is beauty in every stage of the life cycle, whether it be the closed bud of a flower, a deteriorated sea shell or an autumn leaf. My main challenge being that time is limited and of all my ideas, only some will find their way to paper! My art practice is my meditation, my connection to the earth, to my family, and at times it is all encompassing in the most beautiful of ways'.
