Artwork Description

Peregian Beach glows under brilliant mid-morning light and although the exposed sandy wall is shaded, it still glows with colour from under its grassy covering. In the distance small waves break across a submerged sand bar and the low tide has exposed a tantalizingly wide beach, irresistible and a magnet to beach and surf lovers alike as they are drawn to walk down and through this sandy access.

Artist Bio

Don Milner.. Australian artist and painter lives on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Painting original art in impressionist and realistic styles. Seascape, landscape, cityscape, portrait and still life using
paint mediums, Acrylics, Oils, Charcoal, Pastel and Drawing techniques.
“I am primarily a Visual Communicator and Storyteller and I celebrate my ‘Freedom of Expression’ through my art. Inspired by my environment and the colourful characters who inhabit it. My artistic impressions manifest themselves and are reflected through my paintings and art. I am driven to create using unique and inspiring images that capture and express my imagining. Unique, magnificent seascapes, the vast emptiness of the outback’s parched and foreboding landscape, spectacular scenery, larger than life characters, all of which inspire and provide endless opportunities that empower my creative spirit to express 'That Special Something' ..the true and unique essence of my subjects are revealed and expressed through my art."
Don is seen as a very worthy emerging artist to watch and follow as his art regularly gains the attention of art lovers and collectors alike because of its unique qualities and masterfully executed techniques, plus his art has continued to significantly increase in value over the past 2 decades.
