Chance Encounters

While visiting Tower Hill, near Warrnambool, we were hiking when this koala wandered across our path. After the customary pause while she processed these strange creatures that were interrupting her morning, she decided to climb the nearest tree.
There is something truly special when you come face to face with a wild animal, and koalas are some of my favorites.

Donna's artwork is inspired by a deep, lifelong connection to Australia's wildlife and wilderness. She grew up surrounded by orphaned animals and continues to have an intimate and constant craving for the peace only found by sitting in stillness in the Australian bush.
