Artwork Description

A family of Tawny frogmouths was disturbed by some noise around the house. The parents were doing their usual "Not impressed" look, while the little baby was wide-eyed and bushy-tailed during their temporary relocation.
(Reference photo taken by Jeremy Prentice reminds me of many early mornings in our house).

Artist Bio

Donna's artwork is inspired by a deep, lifelong connection to Australia's wildlife and wilderness. She grew up surrounded by orphaned animals and continues to have an intimate and constant craving for the peace only found by sitting in stillness in the Australian bush.
Like mixing hughes of paint to capture a face or eye, the desire to treasure, to protect, to remember, to fight for nature all mix to form heartfelt inspiration.
