Artwork Description

Heading West towards Perth from Sydney, a stop on the road looking out into the distance. Somewhere just off the Eyre Highway.

Painted on 360GSM German Watercolour paper.

Professionally mounted on off white mount board with foamcore backing, this A4 sized artwork is ready to frame.

Please Note: I do my best to photograph my artworks accurately but due to differences in monitors and devices, colours may vary slightly.

Artist Bio

Doodie's artwork is a response to landscape in all its beautiful forms across the country, from green forests to red desert and the bush in between. She paints from memory and photos of her extensive travels.
Having grown up in WA, the red dirt of the Kimberleys and the Pilbara are ever present visual references, along with the plains of the wheat belt, the soaring jarrah forests of the south and the hectares of untouched bush around her home.
Nature has been a place of solace and connection since she was a child and she paints what she feels in its presence, often drawn to the rhythm of its forms.
Doodie loves to use found tools and a variety of colour palettes and styles so that each artwork reflects an authentic vision of a personal experience.
