My name is Ece and I am a self-taught ceramicist and painter, though only my original paintings will be here on Bluethumb. I have been holding a paintbrush for as long as I can remember and it is something that has always been there for me. Over the years my style has been in the making, ever-changing by the influences of the world around me. I love ancient times, given from my thousands of years old Turkish heritage and I have so much respect for ancient art. Being a potter, I get to get in touch with that a lot and I love incorporating some of that into my paintings too. I love taking the viewer somewhere other than wherever they are for that moment of looking at my paintings. I trust and practice finding beauty and magnificence in simplicity.Currently working on becoming a full time artist. Cannot wait to talk to you!
