Part of a series of paintings created in the late months of winter 2021. Each is the result of a simple task - creating a composition from repetitive circles in one session. Painted on what was to hand at the time and in colours that spoke at the time, the result is a series of paintings that, whilst similar in composition, are unique to the individual moment created. Each one directly reflecting the mood and temperament at the time. Some are quick and frantic, other more detailed and considered.

Repetition 061021 is painted in reverse, on perspex sheet which gives the piece a unique, intense, almost still wet finish with vivid colours
