Original Artwork's Description

A man stands amongst shapes some real some not real

"I seek to express the abstract in everyday life so that you too may see the little bit of extra uniqueness that surrounds us. This scene is highly inspired by Jeffery Smarts paintings and aims to capture the mundane uniquely."
This image would suit a well-lit wall with plenty of supportive colours from the colour wheel, such as purples and yellows. A dark frame would work well with the complexion of the browns heavily featured in this image.

Artist Bio

Ed is a passionate photographer and digitial artist. His focus is on forms, shapes, movement colour and shadows to represent his observations of the "waiting room". His vision for his art represents silent, still moments. He seeks to capture the feeling of this "waiting room"—the liminal, in-between spaces of modern life where the world seems to hold its breath.

Ed is inspired by Jeffry Smart, Trent Parke, Jesse Marlow, and Saul Lieter among many others.
