Hi, I'm Edgar!
I've been practicing life drawing for the last ten years and I wanted to share some of my works here. I use life drawing to observe others and myself through them, it's surprising how much a look in someone's eyes can tell you about their life. One of the things I enjoy the most is seeing the person I'm drawing realising they are being 'seen'. As a friend said to me recently, don't hear that eloquently (because it isn't).
My background is varied, but my professional career has geared towards sciences - I am doing research in cellular communication and have a background in biophysics. I also collaborate with another artist, Dave Folly-Hans, to curate exhibitions at our gallery space in Fremantle.
