This piece captures a winters day in Prague, looking down Tynska Ulicka at the Old Town Hall. Prague is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever been to, and although I was there in spring, I transformed my painting in to a snowy winter scene. I take inspiration from older styles of painting, most notably realism, which I believe has a heavy influence on my work. The snowy roads and rooftops, lit by a soft sunlight, provided a thoughtful subject, reminiscing a stroll in the early hours of the morning, muffled footsteps, and a brisk wind.
