A surprise gift of Australian blooms arrived at the door and I was inspired to capture them on canvas. This particular bloom, the Pink Ice Protea, deserved to have its own space. A miniature canvas but a dramatic statement. The longer I live in Australia the more I am drawn to these strong statements from nature. Whilst it is a small painting it will bring one of the outside delights into your home and enhance the space in which it sits. This small work has been protected by two coats of matt varnish.
