I have been involved in art, in one form or another, for most of my adult life. I studied fine art at Liverpool University in the UK and my focus then was on sculpture. I took part in a number of small local exhibitions and was an artist in residence at the Rotunda Community College for 6 weeks. However, the struggles of life as an artist resulted in a different career path.
Art has always remained in my life in the form of a hobby and I have filled my home plus the homes of family and friends with various forms of my work. It has given me great joy and satisfaction. Now, I find myself in the fortunate position of being able to totally focus on my passion.
I use a variety of mediums from oils to acrylics and differing styles from abstract to floral but watercolour has become my favourite . I love it's spontaneity and freedom . Through my art I hope to project a positive energy by use of colour and subjects from the sea. I live in Noosa, Queensland and every day I find joy and fulfillment in the ocean, river and lakes that surround me. I want to bring some of the colour and joy that I experience in my everyday world, to other peoples lives. I try to give my art fun and quirky titles, which will hopefully put a smile on people's faces. I hope you enjoy looking at my work. Thank you.
