Catch me if you Can!

“Catch me if you can” captures that moment that penguins make that dash for the water. To them it is possibly a dash for survival, yet their funny little waddle reminds us of the comical character of Charlie Chaplin from the movies from the early 1920’s. We can’t help but smile at their funny little walk that has similarities to a human with short legs!

The penguin is one that brings big smiles to human faces even though their lives are such a struggle for survival.

this painting is a small painting that is framed in a white timber floating frame. It can be easily hung on a wall or it can stand nicely on a cabinet or shelf.

I grew up with a love for drawing cartoon characters and was lucky enough to complete work experience several times with cartoonists at the Brisbane Courier Mail and Sunday Sun newspapers during my highschool years.

With my love for cartooning and illustration , I have developed a unique style that is both meaningful and playful. I paint a variety of subjects capturing the beauty and joy in the little things around us . I love to paint those experiences and occasions that bring us joy as well as positivity and personal, emotional strength.
My work is a celebration of life and the small things that we take for granted, with a popart / cartoon twist mixed with a touch of Impressionism.
