This is a painting of a magpie who brought his family to visit us every day for many years,
One thing I really noticed while being able to get up to them so close was the beautiful shine of greens and blues amongst their black feathers. They are very smart and beautiful birds that you can become wonderful friends with.
Framed in white timber floating frame.

I grew up with a love for drawing cartoon characters and was lucky enough to complete work experience several times with cartoonists at the Brisbane Courier Mail and Sunday Sun newspapers during my highschool years.

With my love for cartooning and illustration , I have developed a unique style that is both meaningful and playful. I paint a variety of subjects capturing the beauty and joy in the little things around us . I love to paint those experiences and occasions that bring us joy as well as positivity and personal, emotional strength.
My work is a celebration of life and the small things that we take for granted, with a popart / cartoon twist mixed with a touch of Impressionism.
