Tranquility

The feeling of tranquility is easily captured looking at this painting of a boat. You can almost feel the boat gently rocking with the ripple of the water. Bringing that feeling of peace that you would feel if you were sitting in this boat out in an open lake.

I grew up with a love for drawing cartoon characters and was lucky enough to complete work experience several times with cartoonists at the Brisbane Courier Mail and Sunday Sun newspapers during my highschool years.

With my love for cartooning and illustration , I have developed a unique style that is both meaningful and playful. I paint a variety of subjects capturing the beauty and joy in the little things around us . I love to paint those experiences and occasions that bring us joy as well as positivity and personal, emotional strength.
My work is a celebration of life and the small things that we take for granted, with a popart / cartoon twist mixed with a touch of Impressionism.
