A Life Creative
Drawing and painting have been a constant part of my life since my early childhood in Yorkshire England. My sister Josie and I regularly painted together there until I married and emigrated to Australia in 1971.
Once in Australia I became more interested in art and studied Fine Art and Ceramics for a number of years in Wollongong NSW. Brisbane has been my home for quite a few years now.
My style continues to change as I have always loved to experiment. In recenta years I have worked mostly with acrylic paints, oil pastels and charcoal. I enjoy impressionist and abstract work which is usually bright and bold.
In 2019 I was a finalist in two Brisbane art shows: the Rotary Art Spectacular and the Lethbridgae Small Scale Art Award.
