Artwork Description

This evocative painting captures the dynamic interplay between the vast expanse of the sea and the fleeting sky above. Textured layers and delicate white lines suggest the movement of water and the ephemeral nature of the coastal environment. Subtle hints of pink and orange in the clouds add a touch of warmth, contrasting with the cool blues and hinting at the fragility of the natural world. The work serves as a meditation on the beauty and vulnerability of the coastline, inviting the viewer to contemplate the delicate balance between land and sea.
Artwork size A3 - 42 cm x 29.7 cm.
Frame size A2 - 59.4 cm x 42 cm.
Framed in a simple white frame.

Artist Bio

Hello, and welcome to my profile! I’m a contemporary abstract artist based on the Gold Coast. My inspiration stems from a deep love of nature, organic shapes, and natural patterns. Living on the Gold Coast, I am fortunate to witness the ever-changing colours of the ocean, which provide continuous inspiration.

My artistic process involves extensive study of nature, drawing landscapes from direct observation, memories, feelings, and vibrations, establishing a spiritual connection with the natural world.

I love to explore diverse creative mediums, including paintings, photography, and digital art, incorporating a visual language that captures earthy and organic forms. Continuously evolving, I experiment with new techniques, infusing diversity into my work across all mediums.

After 25 years of working in the corporate world and having a successful commercial career in business and marketing management, I am thrilled to return to my professional art practice..
