Inspired by my recent trip to the beautiful Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, this contemporary abstract art piece captures the rhythmic pulse of the Peninsula's sea pools, using bold, circles to represent the dynamic interplay between water, rock, and sky. The composition is an exploration of nature's cyclical movements, with each circle symbolizing a pool’s shifting form as it is both shaped and reshaped by the tides. Rich, textural application of paint creates depth and visual interest in this beautiful, statement piece.

Artwork Description
Artist Bio
I am a contemporary, abstract artist from Queensland, whose works are inspired by landscapes and interiors. I find great peace in painting and feel there is a meditative quality to the process. My aim is to capture a moment of stillness in a sometimes-chaotic world and to encourage the viewer to pause, reflect and enjoy the timelessness of a particular moment. I am particularly inspired by the landscapes that surround me in Australia. From the Mornington Peninsula to the semi-arid regions, through the use of bold strokes, earthy hues, and fluid compositions, I seek to evoke the emotions of an immersive experience that is exciting yet also meditative in nature.
