Garden Spa is set in Morroco. It is a painting about passion, industriousness and foresight.
A beautiful garden nutured in amongst the desert.
The colour palette is soft and selective like a summer sunset. Earthy pinks, purples, blues, bronse and greens.
I have used a beautiful italian lime plaster base which has been polished with a trowel. There are delicate patterns painted and carved. The resined leaves balance the lustrous plaster. There are specs of bronse mica that glimmer ever so slightly.
I have made a custom frame for this piece and painted it in a lovely burnt sienna.
This painting is uplifting, playful yet sophisticated. It could replace a mirror, it would suit many a living room, look perfect at an end of a hall, a teens bedroom. One thing is for sure, it would make you smile when you look at it, even out the corner of your eye when you are doing the stuff you do in your space, making a coffee, reply to emails or look up 1 star reviews of sugerfree gummy bears. Buy it, you won't regret it and I need a new winter coat.

Artwork Description
Artist Bio
I have grown up in Melbourne and have thus far settled here. I work in my home studio with my husband and three children.
As a child, I was always drawing and writing stories. My Greek migrant parents were busy pursuing the "Great Australian Dream" of owning their own small business's (first one being a milkbar) which gave me plenty of time to delve into all things imaginary.
After a career in Marketing and S0ales I began painting and pottery again...and haven't stopped.
My art is largely contemporary, sometimes abstract. I approach most paintings like a screen play, I set the place and characters.
If I were to summarise my art I would say amongst anything it is an exploration of texture, velvety lime paints, to polished or undulated plaster, matt and gloss.
Materials I use are lime and clay plasters, resin, acrylic paint and pastels.
I feel blessed when someone chooses my art to place in there home. It is an ultimate honour and my end goal is to add harmony and joy to a home.
