I have grown up in Melbourne and have thus far settled here. I work in my home studio with my husband and three children.
As a child, I was always drawing and writing stories. My Greek migrant parents were busy pursuing the "Great Australian Dream" of owning their own small business's (first one being a milkbar) which gave me plenty of time to delve into all things imaginary.
After a career in Marketing and S0ales I began painting and pottery again...and haven't stopped.
My art is largely contemporary, sometimes abstract. I approach most paintings like a screen play, I set the place and characters.
If I were to summarise my art I would say amongst anything it is an exploration of texture, velvety lime paints, to polished or undulated plaster, matt and gloss.
Materials I use are lime and clay plasters, resin, acrylic paint and pastels.
I feel blessed when someone chooses my art to place in there home. It is an ultimate honour and my end goal is to add harmony and joy to a home.
